On Patzún Mission Sunday at Holy Sepulcher there was lots of activity after Mass. Parishioners were generous in their help for Escuela San Bernardino, donating scholarships, money for repairs and water filters. Father Al Semler, the founding pastor of the Mission Group, sent a very healthy contribution. Brenda Hartzel offered especially poignent remarks on the dichotomous poverty and joy that she found in a single room that was home to a Cachequel family of eight.

The Holy Sepulcher pre-school teacher popped by with money that her kids collected selling lemonade. Then came this Butler Eagle photo of our precious little ones earnestly helping their equally precious counterparts in Patzún. God blessed us all on this fine day.
